The B2B QC Checklist: Testing Before You Ship
Don't Trust the Sample
The biggest mistake a B2B buyer can make is assuming the mass production batch matches the gold sample. You need a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI).
1. The "Real World" Noise Test
Factories are loud. A motor that sounds "quiet" on the assembly line might sound like a chainsaw in a quiet bedroom. Testing must be done in a Decibel Chamber. If it's over 50dB, it's not a premium product.
2. Waterproof Verification (IPX7)
Don't just take the factory's word. Request a Vacuum Leak Test for 10% of the batch. Submerging a powered-on unit in a pressure tank is the only way to verify that the sonic welding and O-rings are actually doing their job.
